This course introduces students to the foundational principles of Islamic jurisprudence (Usool-e-Fiqh). Students will explore how legal rulings in Islam are derived from the Quran, Sunnah, Ijma (consensus), and Qiyas (analogy). The course also covers the methodologies used by scholars to address new issues and apply Islamic law in modern contexts.
